Les Cabannes is our nearest village only 5 minutes walk away, and serves us well with every needed facility.  Although only having 300 or so inhabitants, the village supports 4 satellite villages, including Pech.

Food:  2 general stores, a newsagent (La Tabac), a bakery (Le Croustidor), pub (Le Mioure), Bars: The Olympic Bar (typical french bar) and Le Mioure (the closest we get to a UK pub)
Restaurants:  Le Chalut :serves a delicious a la carte menu with fish and meat dishes, plus an incredible value 13 euro menu (3 courses).  Le Trevi: very good stone baked pizzas.
Sports facilities: an open air swimming pool (open July and August), tennis courts and a crazy golf pitch (July and August).
